A Look at the 40+ Food Trucks Competing at ManyFest This Weekend

Talk about spoiled. On the very day Le Burger Week Winnipeg wraps up, the city’s favourite annual street festival is back — and better than ever.

From Sept. 7-9, ManyFest will return to the intersection of Memorial Park and Broadway for what should be another weekend full of food, fun and more food.

Featuring carnival rides, live music, Movies in the Park (E.T., Raiders of the Lost Ark, Toy Story and Jurassic Park), a MiniFest family zone, a Third + Bird vendors’ market and even a Lakeside Lounge serving up beer, wine and coolers, there’s no shortage of activities for the whole family.

But the highlight of ManyFest will once again be the fantastic fleet of local food trucks competing in the festival’s annual Food Truck Wars.

Based on public voting and input from a panel of celebrity judges, Food Truck Wars aims to crown the top truck in four categories, including Best Presentation, Best Bang for Your Buck, Most Original and People’s Choice, which has gone to KYU Grill for the past three years.

This year, more than 40 mobile eateries are signed up and ready to satisfy our cravings with everything from pizza and pierogies to tacos and tamales. Here’s a look at the complete lineup.
