Admission to the CMHR is only $5 for the entire month of January
If getting cultured and saving money are among your New Year’s resolutions, you’re in luck.
From Jan. 16 until the end of the month, the Canadian Museum for Human Rights is offering general admission for only $5. With regular admission ranging from $9 (youth) to $18 (adults), that’s a pretty sweet deal. As always, children younger than seven get in for free.
For those who haven’t been a while, some of the museum’s current exhibitions include Rights of Passage: Canada at 150, Seeking Safety, Canadian Doctors in the Field, Seeking Refuge, and Points of View, a national juried photography exhibit telling stories of passion and protest, family and friendship, suffering and struggle, and hunger and hope.
