Generation Green's New Exchange District Location is Now Open

The bad news: we’ve had to go the last few months without Generation Green. The good news: they’re back and better than ever with a new location in the Exchange District.

Since opening up a small kiosk at The Forks in 2012, Generation Green has been serving up eco-friendly products for people who want to do their part for the planet. Starting with a small line of cosmetics and home products, they quickly got into everything from water bottles to books to oil-based bug sprays, and even an entire food section.

Thanks to their overwhelming success at The Forks, they outgrew their space and moved into a new home at 433 Main Street (at the corner of Bannatyne) earlier this month. While the move took longer than expected, it was well worth the wait.

In addition to twice the space, the new shop features an expanded BYOB station and future plans for an in-store vegetarian cafe. And as always, they carry a killer lineup of Manitoba-made goodies and offer 10% to We Heart Winnipeg cardholders.
