Meet the 2018 Le Burger Week Winners Here ...
All great things must come to an end – even Le Burger Week.
Since it began back in 2012, Le Burger Week has become one of Winnipeg’s favourite culinary festivals. Based on the simple (and simply delicious) premise of discovering the city’s best burgers, it’s an opportunity for people to try feature burgers from restaurants all across the city and vote for their favourites.
This year’s edition (Sept. 1-7) was the biggest yet, featuring burgers from more than 100 Winnipeg restaurants. And now, after seven days of indulgence, Le Burger Week has announced our city’s winning restaurants.
Without further ado, here are the winners of the Le Burger Week 2018 …
Brazen Hall Kitchen & Brewery: The Krakow Dragon Burger
Burger Description: The Polish inspired Krakow Dragon burger has all of the legendary flavours expected including potato, sour cream, onion, cabbage as well as bacon ketchup, cheese with potato vodka to inspire the celebration of Le Burger Week… Bite Big!
Clementine Café: Herb & Marrow
Burger Description: Beef and bacon patty, roasted bone marrow, herb and parmesan aioli, herb salad, smoked mushroom relish, sesame milk bun.
Shawarma Khan: The Khan Deluxe
Burger Description: Shawarma Khan’s reputable beef, lamb & falafel patty topped with a sharp cheddar cheese and caramelized onions. A Middle Eastern slaw accompanied with pickled turnips and our signature garlic sauce spiced with a rich palak seasoning. All between a grilled herb and garlic flatbread.

Burger Description: You know something? This burger is the Interprovincial Champion of Le Burger Week. Oooh yeah!!! Snap into a fresh Manitoba beef patty, local blueberry bacon beer jam, oooh yeah, creamy brie cheese, bacon strips, oooh yeah, onion rings, fresh greens, oooh yeah, lemon chipotle aioli on a mango habanero buttered brioche bun. You dig it? It’s a million percent macho madness!
