Celebrate the holidays German-style at the 32nd annual Christkindlmarkt. Held at the Fort Garry Place Mall, behind the Fort Garry Hotel, the three-day market features entertainment, a German Cafe, German imports, baked goods and much more. December 2 | Vegan Handmade Market | 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

We’ve all seen Rogers Hometown Hockey on TV, now you can experience it firsthand. Broadcasting live from The Forks, Ron MacLean and Tara Slone will celebrate local hockey stories and set up Sunday night’s Jets/Senators game amidst a full weekend of autograph sessions, live music and other hockey-related fun. The Winnipeg Humane Society’s sixth annual Paws for the Season event is a craft sale, bake sale, silent auction and fundraiser all in one. Head down to visit Santa, support our city’s local crafters and get your pet’s paw print on a tile or a round medallion. As always, proceeds go towards WHS animals. December 3 | Jingle and Jewels | 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
On Sunday, Canad Inns Club Regent Hotel hosts a holiday market for the whole family. With more than 100 vendors selling everything from jewelry to knitwear to seasonal treats, it’s the perfect opportunity to support local makers (and get some sweet stocking stuffers while you’re at it).
