What's up in WPG: Oct. 13-15
October 13-15 | Scattered Seeds Craft Market
With fall officially here and the holiday season right around the corner, Winnipeg’s biggest and most popular craft market returns to Red River Exhibition Park. As if a full weekend of music, wine, food and shopping isn’t reason enough to attend, it’s also a great opportunity to support our local makers (and scratch some Christmas gifts off your list while you’re at it!). Visit their website for hours, admission rates and the full list of vendors.
October 13-15 | The Winnipeg Rock and Mineral Show
Take in 24,000 sq ft (120+ tables) of rocks, crystals, minerals, fossils, unusual specimens and one-of-a-kind treasures at Assiniboia Downs. Admission is free and one lucky person in attendance will win a giant amethyst heart valued at $5,000. Visit their Facebook page for hours and details.

October 14 | Winnipeg Op-Shop | 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Head to Bird’s Hill Park for a spooktacular night hike. The free event will also feature face painting, a bonfire, crafts and the haunted forest, with spooky hay rides available for a small fee. Don’t forget your costume!
October 14 + 15 | Flash Photographic Festival
Every October, Winnipeg’s annual photography festival showcases local photographers and features (free and paid) photography-related events around the city.
