Bark in the Park: Break a Guinness World Record With Your Pooch This SummerAbout
Breaking a Guinness World Record would be cool. Breaking a Guinness World Record with your pup would be paw-sitively pawsome!
On June 9, Winnipeggers and their four-legged friends will have that chance. For the second straight season, the Goldeyes are hosting Bark in the Park in an attempt to break the Guinness World Record for Most Dogs at a Sporting Event.
Last year’s effort was only 271 dogs short of the current record held by the MLB’s Chicago White Sox (1,222 dogs).
In addition to allowing pooches to watch the game between the Winnipeg Goldeyes and the Chicago Dogs (no joke), Bark in the Park will showcase a number of promotions like the pre-game Pooch Parade, the Pooch Smooch Cam and the 7th Inning Fetch.
Ticket packages for Bark in the Park are available at $14, $20 or $23, and include a free Doggy Treat Bag (while quantities last) along with admission for one adult and one dog (two assigned seats) in the designated seating sections.
Additional single human tickets are also available for $10, $15, or $18, each depending on seat location;
Each dog requires an assigned seat, and dogs are permitted only in these seating sections and the adjacent concourse;
Limit of one dog per adult guest (18 years of age or older);
All fans with dogs must sign and submit an attendance waiver form at the registration tent located outside the left field north gate beginning at 4:30 p.m. on the night of the game;
A portion of Bark in the Park ticket proceeds will go to local dog rescues;
Bark in the Park seats are limited.
