Celebrate Winnipeg's Filipino community at Pasasalamat: A Gratitude Gala

With a population of 60,000 strong, Winnipeg’s Filipino community has long been blessing our city with killer food, festive events and a culture of giving back.

On Jan. 27, that culture will be honoured at Pasasalamat: A Gratitude Gala.

Hosted by Culture Card and Dalagita, the event will feature music, dance and fashion, along with a three-course meal from MasterChef Canada runner up Jeremy Senaris.

Awards will also be handed out to the community’s top non-profit and volunteer groups in the following categories: Arts and Entertainment; Language and Heritage; Community Celebrations and Gatherings; Sports and Fitness; Immigration and Settlement; Newcomer Volunteer Recognition; Youth Volunteer Award; and Lifetime Volunteer Award.
