Mud Hero is back – and it’s muddier than ever

Mud Heroes know that working up a sweat should be fun. Perfected over the past four years by the wonderfully insane team at Crazy Canuck, the annual obstacle adventure is back in Manitoba on July 29.

Simply put, Mud Hero is a 6KM obstacle course taking you through forests, swamps and hills, giving you ample opportunity to burn some cals while getting a little bit dirty (there’s also a 10K version, which has limited registration and sold out right quick). The grounds are located at Hill Top Resort – about 50 minutes north of Winnipeg, just outside of Grand Beach.

From the initial trek up Hamburger Hill to the Cargo Climb to the Camo Crawl to the final satisfying Victory Bath, there are 18+ obstacles to get your blood flowing and your adrenaline pumping.

But Mud Hero isn’t just for fitness fanatics. Whether you’re trying to best last year’s performance or simply out for a good time, it’s a perfect way to spend some prime summer hours outdoors with friends – and an opportunity make some new ones while you’re at it.

But crossing the finish line at Mud Hero is just the beginning. The epic post-race Mud Bash is a great way to celebrate your accomplishment and features barbecue, bevvies, live music and more. It’s the perfect reward for a race well run.
