Rogers Hometown Hockey is Coming to Winnipeg this Weekend

Nothing says winter in Winnipeg like hockey, and winter is most definitely here.

On Dec. 3 and 4, Ron MacLean and Tara Slone will be in town for Rogers Hometown Hockey. Broadcasting live from The Forks, the program will celebrate local hockey stories and our city’s historical connection to the game.

Things will kick off on Saturday with a live performance from local fiddler Patti Kusturok, followed by autograph signings with former Winnipeg Jet Kris King and Paul MacLean, some hockey trivia and music from Amadians.

On Sunday, Kendra Kay and Quinton Blair will hit the stage between more autograph sessions and other hockey-related activities. Maclean and Slone will also set up the Jets/Senators tilt with the live pre-game show at 5:30 p.m.
