See You at the Ballpark for the Goldeyes' 2018 Open House: May 6

With Whiteout Fever in the air, our Winnipeg Jets are getting a whole lotta love these days – and rightfully so. But our city is also home to a pretty darn good baseball team.

Primed for a new season and ready to defend their back-to-back American Association championships, the Winnipeg Goldeyes are hosting their annual open house on Sunday, May 6. To make this year’s celebration extra special, 2018 also marks the team’s 25th anniversary.

In addition to free hot dogs, chips and soft drinks (for the first 1,500 in attendance), the event will feature tours of Shaw Park, hourly prizes and a radar pitching booth to test your arm strength. You’ll also have a chance to see the 2018 Goldeyes, including franchise home run leader Josh Mazzola, who’s back in Winnipeg after spending a couple of years with the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks.

Free family-friendly events don’t get much better than that!

The Goldeyes’ 2018 home opener is Friday, May 25 against the Sioux Falls Canaries. For season tickets, 10-game mini packs, individual tickets, or more information, call 204-982-BASE or visit the Goldeyes online.
