Funky Fleece: Wearable fashions with funky flair
You know the warm, fuzzy, everything-is-good-in-the-world feeling you get when you hold a tiny baby sock? Well, the clothing and accessories from Funky Fleece is giving us those happy vibes just from these photos. Just wait until you see the baby wearing the rubber ducky robe. I’m not crying, you’re crying.
Funky Fleece started in 2003 as a passion project for owner/designer Pam McIntyre, who loved the idea of creating fun and unique clothing and coordinating accessories for all age groups. As a mother of two, Pam knows just how important it is for parents to have comfortable and functional products that stand up to years of growth. It doesn’t hurt that the designs are seriously adorable, either.
Like many creative and highly ambitious entrepreneurs, Pam worked her day job as a dental hygienist for 26 years while building her own business in her spare time. After years of hustle and dedication, she’s proud to say that Funky Fleece has become her full-time career, and business is certainly booming. As she’s going on 15 years with Funky Fleece, the quality of her products speaks for itself.
Pam is truly a Winnipeg success story. While she remains based in The Peg, Funky Fleece has become a popular brand all across Canada. Her adorable creations can be found in 20 stores throughout Ontario, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta, and the Northwest Territories.
While blankets and baby buntings are some of her most popular items, she also creates on-trend clothing and accessories for adults. Take this gorgeous wrap, for example. We don’t know about you, but her London Plaid wrap is giving us serious fall fashion vibes, and we can’t help but imagine all of the possible outfit ideas.
So whether you’re shopping for a baby shower gift or a birthday present, or you’re looking for something for your own tots, be sure to check out Funky Fleece’s adorable products.
