- Jesse Roper brings his high-voltage blend of blues, soul and rock (featuring Winnipeg’s own The Haileys) to the Park Theatre. 8 pm at 698 Osborne St.
Thursday, Nov. 6

- Get sweaty with Basement Cycle & Train’s Basement Social Club. $35 gets you access to one of two cycle classes, a training class, live beats from DJ K Chedda, a silent auction, social snacks and a mocktail bar. 5:30/6:30 pm at Dakota Community Centre.

- Shop 100+ artists from over 30 communities across Manitoba, Nunavut, Northwest Territories, Nunatsiavut and Nunavik at the Winnipeg Art Gallery’s Crafted Art Show. 11 am to 9 pm at 300 Memorial Blvd.
- Catch a special screening of CBC’s hit show, North of North, at the Winnipeg Art Gallery, followed by a Q & A with some of the show’s cast. 2 pm at 300 Memorial Blvd.
- Enjoy an evening of whiskey and food (for a good cause!) at King and Bannatyne’s Movember Winnipeg Whiskey Tasting. 6 pm at 100 King St.

- Create a festive holiday door hanger at Lee Valley’s DIY workshop. 10 am at 1395 Ellice Ave.
- Catch comedian Noel Miller live at the Burt. 7:30 pm at 364 Smith St.

- The Winnipeg Punk Rock Flea Market takes over the Victoria Inn for a full day of rad DIY makers, artists, indie businesses and live music. 11:30 am to 6 pm at 1808 Wellington Ave.
- Shop tackle, shelters, apparel and more at the Winnipeg Ice Fishing Show (Day 2/2). 10 am to 5 pm at Red River Exhibition Place.
- Toss some rocks at the Fort Rouge Curling Club. Their drop-in Learn to Curl program is available for adults of all ages, no experience necessary. Just bring a clean pair of indoor shoes and everything else will be provided. Drop in between 11:45 am and 1 pm at 750 Daly St. South.
